Key Responsibilities
As a Patent Associate Attorney, you will:
• Conduct patent prosecution before the USPTO as an agent or attorney
• Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
• Handle applications involving mechanical technologies, materials science, hardware, and related innovations
• Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel to understand technical developments
• Draft detailed patent specifications and claims with precision
• Respond to Office Actions and manage examiner interviews
• Support broader intellectual property strategies for technology-focused clients

Qualifications
• 2–6 years of patent prosecution experience
• Technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related hard science discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• USPTO registration required
• State bar admission or ability to waive in (State Bar required)
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
