AutoCAD Draftsman

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full‑time CAD Draftsman to work out of one of our offices in Donora, PA. The CAD Draftsman is responsible for creating CAD shop drawings with a Bill of Material for fabrication orders.

• Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models.
• Utilize and work with piping systems and drawings to design and analyze pipe support.
• Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
• Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Experience with AutoCAD software. Mathematics skills – Algebra, Geometry.
• Detail oriented and able to visualize parts in 3D. Experience with 2D drawings.
• Strong analytical, design, and concept skills.
• Able to clearly communicate with others.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and control workflow in a team environment.
• Must be able to work accurately with deadlines and set priorities.
