Project Manager - Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing, Highly Regulated Environments
A strong opportunity is open for an onsite Project Manager in Pennsylvania who has experience helping manage complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This is an onsite role based Pennsylvania. This role is built for someone who enjoys being close to the work, staying involved in the details, coordinating with field and office teams, solving problems quickly, and helping drive projects forward through strong communication, planning, and follow-through.
The right fit will bring project management experience within mission critical, manufacturing, industrial, advanced manufacturing, data center, hyperscale, or similarly complex technical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction activities and administrative processes to support successful project planning, execution, and closeout
- Maintain project scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, change orders, owner billing, vendor invoices, and project documentation
- Support estimating, takeoffs, subcontractor bid review, buyout, and proposal development
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, revisions, changes, and additions with subcontractors, vendors, and project partners
- Identify ways to reduce cost, save time, improve constructability, and deliver value without compromising quality or design intent
- Enforce safety and quality standards while supporting a clean, organized, and safe project site
- Conduct and participate in safety inspections, quality control reviews, and project audits
- Monitor project work to ensure alignment with plans, specifications, codes, regulations, and client expectations
- Support permitting, licensing, and compliance with building codes, safety requirements, insurance requirements, and contract obligations
- Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, change orders, meeting minutes, schedules, closeout materials, and other project documentation
- Lead and participate in OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal project team meetings
- Coordinate manpower projections, project team coverage, materials, equipment, and other resources needed to support project delivery
- Serve as a key point of contact for owners, design partners, subcontractors, field teams, and internal project stakeholders
- Lead and support Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents in day-to-day project execution
- Support repeat client relationships and future project opportunities through strong project delivery and communication
- 5–8+ years of project management experience
- Experience managing or supporting large-scale construction projects; hyperscale or $1B+ project experience is a plus
- Background in mission critical, manufacturing, industrial, advanced manufacturing, data center, or complex technical construction preferred
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Pennsylvania
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, owner communication, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred, though equivalent field experience will also be considered
