Wi Fi Engineer
Experience in Managed Service Provider Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) environment. Understands the protocols and technology to enable us to build a mobile device secure profile provisioning solution (802.1X and Hotspot 2.0). 802.1X, 802.11u / Passpoint / Hot Spot 2.0 / WPA2 Enterprise are a plus. Mobile Device Management (MDM) and provisioning techniques. Installation and configuration or Wi-Fi profiles for mobile devices (iOS and Android).
Device on-boarding & provisioning. Creating technical requirements and validation of features are met by the equipment vendors. Radius Experience is a plus (Cisco Client, Aruba Clear Pass, Cloudpath, Steel Belted Radius, Free Radius, etc.). Provides input to the test plans / cases that are developed for 802.1X / Hotspot 2.0. Experience Packet Captures & tools (Wireshark, Omnipeak, etc.). Understanding of routing and switching protocols (TCP/IP/UDP).
CWNA / CWSP are a plus for this role.
