Client Service Manager

Oversee and support multiple water, wastewater, and stormwater projects within budget and on schedule. Serve as the project's point of contact with clients, agencies, and others to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals. Supervise the work of other engineers, including setting the priorities for their scope of work, their budgets, and their schedules for completing the work. Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all size projects, and support marketing and business development professionals in positioning for potential projects, writing technical portions of proposals, participating in client interviews, and supporting negotiations for project contracts.

40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week, depending on business need. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 14 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 12 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience with the following:
Managing multiple-disciplinary design projects in water, wastewater and stormwater with engineering fee over $1M for a single project;
Negotiating engineering service contracts with the client for contract values greater than $1M;
Technical design in hydraulic modeling, pump station, and wastewater treatment facilities including primary and secondary treatment, and biosolids management; and Preparing proposals, attending interviews, and participating in contract, scope and fee negotiations for water, wastewater and stormwater projects. Must have an active USA Professional Engineer license.
