Hardware Designer
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Designer who not only designs robust electronic systems but also excels at field failure analysis and troubleshooting. This role requires hands-on debugging of customer-reported issues, root-cause analysis, and driving corrective actions across design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware circuits
- Create schematics and support PCB design using Altium Designer
- Lead field issue investigation, including customer returns and on-site failures
- Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) of hardware failures
- Debug issues related to power, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal, and component reliability
- Reproduce field issues in lab environments and define corrective actions
- Support ECOs, design fixes, and validation testing for field issues
- Collaborate with firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams
- Analyze manufacturing and component-level failures (PCBA, soldering, aging, ESD, surge, etc.)
- Prepare failure analysis reports and corrective/preventive action documentation.
