Energy Project Developer

ABM Industries seeks an Energy Project Developer to identify, design, and develop energy efficiency and infrastructure projects for facility clients nationwide. In this role, you'll analyze building energy use, conduct site assessments, and build technical and financial models for upgrades across HVAC, lighting, and controls. You will prepare proposals, coordinate with engineering and operations, and support implementation to ensure savings goals are met.

Collaborating closely with clients, you'll translate complex data into clear solutions that enhance sustainability, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrade opportunities for client facilities
• Conduct site assessments and analyze utility and building performance data
• Build technical and financial models, including savings, ROI, and lifecycle cost analyses
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and supporting documentation for clients
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and vendors during project development and implementation
• Monitor project performance and support verification of energy savings
• Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Support business development efforts and respond to RFPs and client inquiries
