Compensation:
Up to $150,000 Base Salary + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing New Systems team and the leading refrigeration services and design-build provider in the Mid-Atlantic, supporting the delivery of complex refrigeration and mechanical construction projects
.

This position will focus on both design-build and plan & spec projects
, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, General Contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to develop accurate and competitive project estimates.

• Prepare detailed estimates for refrigeration and mechanical construction, new systems, and retrofit projects
• Review drawings, specifications, RFPs, and site conditions to develop accurate project pricing
• Perform detailed material takeoffs, labor calculations, and cost analysis
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Develop detailed subcontractor scopes of work
• Produce comprehensive project budgets, bid proposals, and cost breakdowns
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid walkthroughs as required
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Sales throughout the estimating process
• Lead internal bid strategy meetings and support the handoff of awarded projects to the Systems Team

• 4+ years of construction estimating experience
• Previous experience estimating refrigeration, mechanical, HVAC, or MEP projects strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and subcontractor scope alignment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience with material takeoffs, labor estimating, and subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or AutoCAD
• Willingness to travel as required for jobsite visits and pre-bid meetings
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

• Base salary up to $150,000
