How you will make an impact

* Lead accounting operations for Mitchell & Ness, ensuring accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting.

* Oversee preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations.

* Manage recurring schedules and deliverables related to the month-end close process.

* Identify trends, analyze variances, and recommend strategic actions to improve financial performance.

* Recommend updates to accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

* Oversee preparation of intercompany schedules and partner with Fanatics Corporate Accounting on reconciliations.

* Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes tied to assigned general ledger accounts.

* Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirements.

* Partner cross-functionally across departments to support business growth and improve financial workflows.

* Prepare and review ad hoc analyses, reporting requests, and special projects as assigned.

What you bring to the team

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.

* CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.

* Prior experience in supervisory or leadership roles strongly preferred.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

* Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Experience with Net Suite or Oracle a plus.

* Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLookups).

* Strong collaboration skills to work with leadership and global teams.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to process improvement.
