Description

Robert Half is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Philadelphia. This Accounts Payable Specialist role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor records, and supporting the overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts payable functions, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

+ Process and accurately record all payable invoices in Quick Books, ensuring timely payments and proper financial postings.

+ Maintain comprehensive master files for vendors, contracts, and uncollected checks.

+ Handle petty cash disbursements, replenishment, and reconciliation, adhering to company policies.

+ Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end close process.

+ Serve as a backup for other finance staff during emergencies, ensuring seamless operations.

+ Manage office supply orders and vendor transactions, including credit card authorizations for events and hotel stays.

+ Assist with booking flights for employees and board members when needed.

+ Collaborate with various departments to provide financial assistance and enhance internal processes.

+ Support the finance team in improving overall efficiency and accuracy.

+ Complete ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration

Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist position include and are not limited to:

+ 3+ years of experience

+ Quick Books experience required

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

+ Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
