Obtain financial clearance information and prior authorizations for all phases of OMFS services;
Educate patients in OMFS clinic regarding insurance coverages and work with patients and families on obtaining appropriate primary coverage, secondary coverage, and pharmacy benefits;
Provide additional advice and financial counseling to uninsured and underinsured patients on corrective measures to obtain coverage;
Assist the lead financial coordinator in financial process for urgent/emergent listings and evaluations;
Communicate financial findings to OMFS colleagues and billing team
