This position will be a key member of a small team responsible for the forecasting, budgeting and financial results analysis of Energy Transfer’s margin generating activities, as well as supporting joint venture financial reporting and budget presentations. This candidate will need the ability to operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment and will work closely with our Commercial, Accounting and Operations groups.
This position will be based in our Houston or Dallas office.
- Participation in the budget and forecast process for margin activities.
- Prepare and participate in reporting monthly results to commercial and operational leadership.
- Maintain a close productive relationship with commercial, accounting and operations groups as required by this function.
- Prepare budgets and forecast information for delivery and presentation to joint venture partners.
- Understand and evaluate the impact of changing market conditions that impact revenue.
- Prepare Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.
- Prepare quarterly analysis reporting package presented to financial, commercial and operational leadership in preparation for quarterly earnings call.
- Support the FP&A Manager and the Vice President of Finance in responding to requests from external joint venture partners.
- Support the Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and rating agencies.
Education and/or Experience , Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
- Strong Excel modeling skills.
- Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Big 4 audit or consulting experience, preferably with exposure to the oil and gas industry.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Experience by Level- Associate Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience.
- Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience.
- Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience.
