THE POSITION

The Bilingual Management Aide role with the York City Housing Authority offers an exciting chance to support important housing programs. This position allows you to help residents by keeping vital records, assisting with inspections, and communicating key information.

This position supports a wide range of administrative, fiscal, and occupancy-related tasks that help the Authority's housing programs run efficiently. As a Bilingual Management Aide, in this beginning level technical work you will perform the following duties:
- Record Management:
Maintain tenant files, prepare correspondence, and track tenant changes - Client Assistance:
Assist walk-in clients and respond to questions by phone - Rent Processing:
Verify income, calculate rents, and support the annual re-examination process - Inspection Support:
Complete inspection reports in line with regulations and document violations - Data Analysis:
Analyze statistical and fiscal information to support program decisions - Communication Tasks:
Deliver tenant notices, coordinate newsletters, and route maintenance complaints
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, with 30-minute lunch.

- One (1) year of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies; or
- One (1) year of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires the selected candidate to be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish. You may be contacted for a Spanish speaking proficiency evaluation conducted by the Bureau of Talent Acquisition, PA Office of Administration. If contacted, you must pass the speaking evaluation in order to be deemed eligible for this position. Your proficiency in reading and writing in Spanish must be demonstrated during the probationary period to achieve regular status in the position.
