Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech – Strabane Woods of Washington

Washington, PA

Full-time and Part-time, Non-exempt.

Current opportunity is for the Evening Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) and Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) including rotating weekends and holidays.

Starting Pay: $16.74 – $21.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Eligible for up to a $500 sign‑on bonus.

The Person al Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). All resident care is provided in a manner that meets the resident’s physical, mental, and psychosocial needs and enables the individual to attain and maintain the highest practical level of functioning.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with both residents and team members.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
  • Experience in senior living preferred.
  • Experience in memory care (dementia or Alzheimer’s) preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience preferred.
  • Med Techs must be able to produce all documentation to prove received certificate in medication administration, including observation and insulin administration.
