Job Details:
- Mon-Fri 8 hour day shift.
- FLEX Start time between 6am-8AM
- 13-week contract with option to extend
Job Description
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures are in place.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations as needed.
- Educate patients about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Job Requirements
- ARRT Certification
- 2 years with experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus
- Will be paired with an experienced Rad Tech and training on 1 machine
