Description:

The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.

Requirements:

* High school graduate or equivalent.

* Successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.

* Current BCLS required.

* Phlebotomy proficiency preferred

* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Computer experience preferred

* Minimun one (1) year experience in a clinical setting.

* Previous nursing assistant experience.
