Hotel Management
A growing, design-forward hotel management company is seeking a team-oriented leader to serve as the new Regional Director of Revenue Management.
This Regional Director of Revenue Management role carries direct, hands-on revenue responsibility for two hotels, a focused, complex-style scope rather than a large, multi-property portfolio. The primary property is a well-established, four-star branded hotel, 230 rooms and roughly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, with a healthy, balanced mix of transient, business transient, and group demand, and a real opportunity to build out leisure weekend business specifically.
A second property will round out the portfolio.
Ownership is highly engaged in this market: expect a regular cadence of one-on-one strategy conversations with ownership’s own revenue leadership, and the credibility to represent the numbers with confidence in that setting. This is an Executive Committee-level seat with a close working partnership with the on-property sales and commercial leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Own room revenue and market share performance across two hotels, forecasting and aligning stakeholders at the property and ownership level.
- Set and defend rate strategy, working hands-on in revenue management systems to manage pricing, distribution, and demand.
- Partner closely with sales and marketing to grow group, business transient, and leisure segments, with particular focus on building weekend leisure demand.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to keep rate positioning aligned with guest experience and service standards.
- Present performance, forecasts, and strategy directly to ownership on a regular, ongoing basis.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to other revenue leaders across the broader portfolio.
- A minimum of seven years of experience as a Director of Revenue Management, gained across multiple markets.
- Direct experience with a major branded hotel system, ideally in a similarly balanced business mix of transient, business transient, and group.
- A demonstrated track record of growing leisure or weekend demand, specifically, not just overall RevPAR.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach. This is a highly visible seat requiring close daily partnership with sales and operations, not a remote or siloed working style.
- Executive presence and polish, with genuine comfort presenting performance and strategy directly to hotel ownership.
- A track record of tenure and stability, rather than frequent moves.
