* Summary:
** The Human Resources (HR) Assistant works with and assists the HR Teams in the day to day compliance and implementation of Human Resources functions throughout Community Services Group (CSG). This role delivers excellent customer service, clear and efficient operations, effective metrics, and continuous rapid improvement to cultivate a healthy organization using an employee-centered approach. The HR Assistant will have a general knowledge of all HR Teams and expertise in assigned functional areas.
This role will act as a liaison between various HR Teams as well as between the HR Teams and Process Support Teams. The human resources team works within the larger Administrative Center of Excellence. The HR Assistant reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
This position is based out of our Mountville office.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, flexible.

** Starting wage: $20.00 per hour

* Job Description:
*** Provide and ensure excellent customer service by providing solutions to customer questions and concerns.
* Have an understanding or recognition of when the question or concern needs to be referred to a specialist or HR Manager for process review and improvement.
* Accurately complete tasks that support the HR processes while ensuring legal compliance for CSG.
* Complete all tasks with a focus on enhancing the employee experience.
* Understand and complete specific tasks associated with assigned functional area(s).
* Assist with implementation and provide ongoing support for employee and company initiatives.
* Participate in Continuous Rapid Improvement meetings.
* Maintain an understanding of each of the process teams.
* Participate in work groups designed to support the larger Business Operations Center of Excellence.
* Adhere to high standards set forth by the HR Team that are aligned with CSG culture and using an employee-centered approach.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information, while ensuring information is only shared within CSG policies and standards.
* Demonstrate ethical and sound professional practices by acting consistently and according to CSG’s mission and core values, promoting organizational and personal integrity, and adhering to CSG confidentiality policies and upholding trustworthiness.
* Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team. Support team decisions, do own share of the work, keep team members informed of happenings, share relevant information, express positive attitude and expectation of others, value others input, and display willingness to learn from others.
* Ability to maintain and build friendly rapport with internal and external associates at all levels of the organization.
* Uses readily available information or consults other resources to complete job tasks.

* Ability to understand and learn the formal and informal decision-making structures in the organization. Adapt actions to organizational climate and culture by recognizing norms and values and using the language and formats of the organization.

** This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience: High School Diploma or Equivalency and one year of related experience in customer service/relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resources background is preferred but not required.
Additional requirements include:
* Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings and meetings.###
