Engineering Leader, New Business Technology

In this key role within our Commercial Insurance division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. In this role, you will:

* Set the vision and strategy for architecture, platform, and software engineering, aligning with business goals and digital transformation priorities

* Lead the design and execution of technology roadmaps, driving the adoption of emerging technologies and modern engineering practices

* Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex systems, ensuring quality, stability, and operational excellence

* Act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, connecting business needs with practical and innovative engineering solutions

* Build and lead high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of focus, agility, and collaboration

* Promote continuous improvement, compliance with technology standards, and a strong bench of future technology leaders

* Facilitate decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and manage stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels

* Minimum of 12+ years' experience in quality engineering in both a hands-on and leadership capacity

* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline;
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred

* Extensive experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or insurance/financial services technology leadership

* Proven track record of managing large-scale technology initiatives and stakeholder relationships at the executive level

* Deep understanding of insurance technology trends, ecosystems, and best practices

* Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills

* Demonstrated ability to drive growth strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes

The pay range for the role is $160,000 to $190,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
