Senior Technical Engineer - Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Company: enGenThis senior-level role is a strong advocate of cloud technology and engineering support necessary to drive the organization’s next‑generation technologies. The incumbent works to adopt, expand, maintain, and optimize cloud usage across the organization through engineering support of cloud technologies and through automation builds and related technologies. The incumbent owns support and engineering of cloud solutions and must stay current with new cloud offerings to continue to produce expected corporate results.

• Analyse, design, code, test, and implement technical solutions, and provide general production monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Monitor work against production schedule, provide progress updates, and report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership on a regular basis.
• Document technical processes and procedures, and participate in technical reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of solutions with architecture to ensure solution alignment with enterprise goals and standards.
• Mentor other associate and intermediate technical engineers as needed.
• Perform technical analysis and provide insights to support decision‑making across various departments.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices.

• 5 years of experience in analysing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions and providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.
• 5 years of technical problem solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration.
• 5 years of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting.

• 7 years of experience with technology platforms, application development tools, business processes, and software development life cycle used by an enterprise.
• 7 years of experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade‑offs for optimizing short‑term execution while planning for long‑term technical capabilities.
• 7 years of experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions or developing technology solutions in healthcare.
• 7 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services.
• 7 years of experience in technical governance, quality, and technical security best practices.
• 7 years of experience translating requirements, design mockups, prototypes or user stories into technical designs.
• 7 years of producing technical solutions that are fault‑tolerant, efficient, and maintainable.
