A permanent SQL Developer role up to $100k (based on experience), with 401k matching and generous PTO is available. Candidates must live in PA and be able to commute to quarterly onsite meetings. The SQL Developer bridges the gap between technical data and business strategy by engineering reliable pipelines, dashboards, and data models. This role is ideal for those who enjoy transforming fragmented, multi‑source information into secure, actionable intelligence.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Design and refine reports using business intelligence platforms to support various internal departments.
  • Construct and oversee ELT and ETL workflows to ensure all analytics remain precise and current.
  • Develop and sustain datasets based on SQL for high-level analysis.
  • Diagnose refresh failures or data quality gaps while optimizing systems for maximum speed and reliability.
  • Partner with diverse teams to turn business inquiries into technical architectures; provide clear documentation for all outputs.
  • Execute sophisticated data modeling, including the creation of custom Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and logic to ensure reports are scalable.
  • Control data permissions and access protocols to protect sensitive corporate information.
  • Act as a translator, explaining complex technical frameworks to individuals in non-technical roles.
  • Provide foundational coordination to ensure the data deliverables meet established timelines.
Qualified SQL Developer
  • 3-7 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Transact‑SQL and SQL Server, specifically focused on optimizing complex queries.
  • End‑to‑end Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and development.
  • Advanced Data Modeling and architectural concepts.
  • Hands‑on implementation of business intelligence platforms.
  • Fundamental understanding of data security and governance, specifically regarding report‑level access.
  • Top‑tier interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical solutions to a broad audience.
