Wi-Fi Network Engineer

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Responsibilities:

• Compose, develop, and refine Wi-Fi networks based on 802.11 standards, incorporating a/b/g/n/ac/ax and the latest Wi-Fi 6e/7 technologies.
• Set up and supervise Wi-Fi security modes to guarantee smooth functioning and security.
• Build and maintain Wi-Fi Mesh networks to improve connectivity and coverage.
• Perform detailed Wi-Fi performance testing, encompassing efficiency and latency evaluations.
• Apply packet analysis tools such as Wireshark for troubleshooting and resolving network problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated background in 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Profound understanding of Wi-Fi security modes.
• Proficiency in Wi-Fi Mesh networks as well as Wi-Fi 6e/7.
• Strong skills in Wi-Fi performance testing, including efficiency and latency.
• Proficiency in the utilization of packet analysis tools like Wireshark.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of networking principles.
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Ability to present technical information to executives.
• Basic knowledge of RF fundamentals.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux systems troubleshooting.
