Senior Reporting Analyst W/ SSIS/SSRS & Tableau

Rate: $ 40/ hour on C2C

Support the Xfinity Home Reporting team by creating new and maintaining existing code base used to provide reporting to end users.

• Partner with subject matter experts to document and translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Craft technical solutions for new and existing reporting processes based on technical requirements
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable and easily adaptable to change
• Provide and present estimates for proposed solutions. Estimates should consider requirements, development, testing, and implementation/PVT efforts
• Create new and modify existing SSRS reports
• Create new and modify existing tableau reports and processes
• Create new and modify existing SQL server queries, views, packages, and ETL jobs
• Write SQL select queries against a large Teradata database to provide ad hoc analytics and to QC new reports/processes created
• Work with central Teradata team to create new and modify existing Teradata views as required
• Create and execute on high level test plans for technical changes to reports and databases
• Ensure adequate controls are in place for all processes created
• Analyze current database/reporting logic to optimize data delivery processes and reduce code toxicity

Bachelor's degree (B.

A.) in Computer Science, Accounting, and/or Finance required. Advanced Degree preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years' experience:

• Reporting/analysis/database development
• Writing advanced SQL queries to support business inquiries, ETL automation, developing stored procedures
• Creating and maintaining SSRS reports
• Must have worked in a datamart / data warehouse environment.
• Analytical functions and performing tuning
• Advanced BI/Reporting Tool experience (SSRS/Tableau) required
• Comfortable with Excel including pivot tables, charts, formulas and VBA being a plus
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex businesses, including financial, operational, and strategic aspects
• Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in team environment, and experience communicating with senior leadership on complex concepts and presenting executive level summaries.

Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) – Ability to develop advanced reports, manage subscriptions, etc

Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS) - Ability to manage and create SQL server ETL processes
