Job Summary

This role is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting the Clinical Documentation (Clindoc) Epic application. The analyst conducts business and systems analysis, defines and documents requirements, designs solutions, and resolves issues while communicating with end users.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, build, test, implement, and support Epic Clindoc software.
  • Analyze and define system requirements and specifications.
  • Perform workflow analysis and evaluate user experience.
  • Support and maintain environments or applications using domain knowledge.
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials for application implementation.
  • Configure changes in Epic environments to provide standardized workflows.
  • Correct issues, conduct routine maintenance, and update systems with new functionality.
  • Offer guidance and support to end users to enhance Epic usage and resolve system issues.
  • Contribute to and manage small to medium‑sized projects independently.
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct problem‑solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex problems.
  • Identify solutions and complete related documentation.
Experience

Required:

3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules. Preferred: 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry with Epic Clinical Documentation (Clindoc).

Skills
  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking for assigned tasks.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
  • Knowledge of project management principles related to assigned tasks.
Education

Required:

Associate’s degree. Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or related field.

Licenses or Certifications

Required:

Epic Application Certification within 6 months. Preferred:
None.

Travel Requirement

0%–25%.

Position Type

Remote-based. Occasionally travel to various work sites or from site to site.
