Job Title: Command Center Associate
Location: Remote (U.S.
- must work Eastern Standard Time hours)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (occasional extended hours up to 8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays with advanced notice)
Position OverviewThe Command Center Associate supports our clients Insurance Operations by ensuring smooth readiness, monitoring, and post-launch execution of system deployments across multiple product lines. This role acts as the key liaison between operational teams, product owners, and technical staff to triage issues, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure clear, proactive communication during deployment activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment, demonstrates strong communication and organization skills, and has the flexibility to adapt during high-volume deployment periods.
Key Responsibilities- Deployment Readiness & Monitoring: Support the successful launch of deployments by ensuring all systems, processes, and communication channels are ready. Monitor command center activities during deployment days, which can span multiple days.
- Issue Triage & Tracking: Manage incoming issues via Service Now and Microsoft Teams; triage, document, and follow up to resolution. Maintain and update the RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) log throughout the deployment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the bridge between technical teams and operational units, translating technical and business language as needed. Ensure that all updates and resolutions are clearly communicated across stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting: Draft clear and concise end‑of‑day summaries and executive‑level communications that reflect deployment status, issue trends, and resolutions. During non‑peak periods, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process documentation, and team development projects to enhance command center efficiency.
- Exceptional Communication Skills – Clear written and verbal communication across multiple channels (Teams, email, Zoom) with executive‑level audiences.
- Strong Organizational & Analytical Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities, track issues accurately, and follow up proactively.
- Calm Under Pressure – Able to navigate fast‑moving, high‑stakes deployment environments with professionalism and composure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level: must navigate and update formulas without breaking existing functions)
- Experience using Service Now (ticket tracking)
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for work tracking
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and Zoom for collaboration
- General understanding of both IT and operational workflows to act as an effective liaison between teams
- 3+ years of experience in command center

, incident management
, or operations coordination - Experience in health insurance or call center operations environments
- Familiarity with deployment or change management processes
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience
- Must be flexible to occasionally work extended hours or Saturdays (approximately 6–7 times per year) with advance notice.
- Structured onboarding and shadowing provided to ensure comfort with systems, processes, and deployment types.
- Works closely with a Readiness Lead who provides product briefs and deployment context.
