The Information and Cyber Security team at Jack Henry is looking for a Senior Data Security Analyst to join our mission-critical team. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the security of Jack Henry by evaluating the effectiveness of data security controls, compliance, and governance across the organization’s data landscape. Additionally, this role offers a unique opportunity to use your project management and business analysis skills to help guide the development of processes and programs from the ground up.

The targeted salary range for this role is $86,464-$126,000 based upon experience and location. This role can be worked remotely within the United States and may travel up to 15% for meetings, trainings and conferences.

What you’ll be responsible for:

* Evaluates the effectiveness of data configurations, policies, and controls across the company including Data Loss Prevention, Data Protection, and/or Data Storage.

* Evaluates security controls within the context of data at rest, data in motion, and data in process.

* Defines, documents, and recommends policy and configuration changes and evaluates requests for configuration changes related to data protection.

* Ensures compliance with data visibility, classification, and handling standards.

* Collaborates with engineers, architects, and business units as an advisor on data security governance, compliance, principles of least access, and process engineering.

* Supports security events and evaluates involved data and related impacts to confidentiality.

* Administers the Data Security Posture Management system evaluating data security, data accesses and data flows.

* Leveraging your Business Analysis experience to develop operational processes for the Data Security team.

* Performs data security impact assessments and reports findings to leadership.

* Performs Enterprise data security assessments and reports findings to leadership.

* Supports reporting on the effectiveness of data security, data awareness, third party risk, and incident response.

* May perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

* Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems administration or networking and firewall engineering.

* Minimum of 4 years of experience doing business analysis developing processes, data flows, or supporting business program creation.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience working in cybersecurity with a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management, cryptography, and security operations.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What would be nice for you to have:

* A bachelors degree in business, technology, or information security.

* Experience leading and coordinating large projects.

* Strong critical thinking and technical analysis skills to apply to documentation review or security solution design.

* Experience drafting and writing documentation.

* Experience and understanding of relational database systems.

* Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

* Excels in collaboration and looks for opportunities to partner.

* Knowledge of executing incident response activities and seeing incidents through to successful remediation.

* Working knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GLBA, FFIEC, GDPR, CCPA, or other global data protection laws.

* Ability to document processes as well as identify and describe controls within processes.

* Working knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks including NIST 800, CSA - CCM, and CIS.

* Experience with PCI DSS, PCI SSF
