Help Desk Analyst

Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to provide responsive technical support for end users in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day system issues, delivering excellent customer service, and keeping support requests organized from intake through resolution. The role focuses on troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments, assisting with account access, and ensuring users receive timely, effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to incoming service desk requests and document all interactions, updates, and resolutions within the ticketing system.

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues in Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 support.

- Assist users with password resets, account access, and permission-related requests through Active Directory.

- Diagnose basic technical problems, identify root causes, and escalate more complex issues when needed.

- Provide clear guidance to end users on resolving common technical issues and using supported systems effectively.

- Track open incidents to ensure timely follow-up, accurate status updates, and successful issue closure. Requirements - Experience supporting end users in a help desk or service desk environment.

- Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account and access support.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 troubleshooting.

- Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting across software and desktop issues.

- Experience managing and updating service desk tickets accurately and efficiently.
