Help Desk Analyst

Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support end users with day-to-day technical issues in Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, delivering responsive customer support, and maintaining reliable desktop performance across a Microsoft Windows environment. The person in this role will handle incoming service requests, troubleshoot system and access issues, and help ensure users can work efficiently with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities:

- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and Windows-related issues reported by end users.

- Manage and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner, documenting steps taken and outcomes clearly.

- Troubleshoot desktop and account-access problems, identifying root causes and escalating more complex issues when needed.

- Support user administration tasks within Active Directory, including account updates and access-related assistance.

- Assist team members with Windows 10 functionality, system settings, and common workstation problems.

- Communicate with users throughout the support process to set expectations and confirm issue resolution.

- Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and recurring technical concerns to support service improvement. Requirements - Experience providing help desk or service desk support in a detail-focused environment.

- Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user and account administration tasks.

- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 desktops.

- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for software, system access, and end-user technical issues.

- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting support activity accurately.
