Help Desk Analyst

Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to provide responsive technical support for end users in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving everyday technology issues, delivering strong customer service, and keeping support requests organized from intake through resolution. The role focuses on troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments, assisting with account access, and ensuring users receive timely and effective help.

Responsibilities:

- Provide first-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and access-related issues submitted by end users.

- Diagnose and resolve problems in Microsoft Windows 10 environments, escalating more complex incidents when needed.

- Manage service desk tickets by documenting issues clearly, tracking progress, and following through to completion.

- Support user account administration tasks within Active Directory, including access updates and basic account maintenance.

- Troubleshoot common workstation and system issues using a structured, customer-focused support approach.

- Communicate with users in a thorough manner to explain solutions, gather needed details, and set clear expectations.

- Maintain accurate support records to help improve issue resolution and service quality over time. Requirements - Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a Microsoft Windows environment.

- Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user account and access support.

- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and resolving related end-user issues.

- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for software, hardware, and login problems.

- Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and documenting support activity accurately.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when assisting end users.
