This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle HCM Consultant – Core HR and Payroll based in the United States.
This is a senior, client-facing consulting role focused on delivering Oracle Cloud HCM transformations from discovery through post-production support.
You will serve as a functional lead and trusted advisor, with deep expertise in Core HR and working knowledge of Oracle Payroll.
The role combines hands‑on configuration, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and strategic consulting.
You will lead workshops, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and guide clients through complex implementation decisions.
You will collaborate closely with technical teams on integrations, data conversion, reporting, testing, and deployment.
The environment is remote or client‑site based, with opportunities to work on complex and potentially global transformation projects.
This role is well suited to an experienced Oracle HCM professional who enjoys ownership, client interaction, problem‑solving, and mentoring others.
- Lead Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR implementations across the full lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support.
- Serve as the primary functional lead and subject matter expert for Global Human Resources and Core HR solutions.
- Design and configure complex Oracle Cloud HCM processes, including enterprise structures, workforce structures, legal employers, jobs and positions, employment lifecycle events, workforce modeling, security profiles, and role‑based access.
- Support Oracle Payroll initiatives by aligning HR and payroll processes, data structures, validation activities, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate client, executive, and stakeholder workshops to understand business needs, define future‑state processes, and establish practical solution approaches.
- Lead fit‑gap analyses, solution architecture discussions, and provide recommendations based on Oracle best practices and business objectives.
- Oversee testing strategies, user acceptance testing, deployment planning, and go‑live readiness activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data conversions, HDL, HCM Extracts, reporting, and related Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout client engagements.
- Mentor junior consultants and project team members, provide functional guidance, and support project work streams and staff development.
- Contribute to business development activities, including solution demonstrations, proposals, project estimations, and client presentations.
- Maintain current knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities and industry practices through ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.
- Participate in internal initiatives and provide functional expertise and support to colleagues across projects.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, adapting to evolving client and business requirements.
- 5+ years of professional Oracle Cloud HCM consulting experience, including at least 4 years of hands‑on Oracle Cloud Core HR configuration experience.
- Proven experience leading multiple end‑to‑end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
- Strong expertise in Global HR, workforce management, and Core HR business processes.
- Experience supporting Oracle Payroll implementations or payroll‑related initiatives, with the ability to understand the relationship between HR and payroll processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client‑facing workshops, facilitate complex discussions, and manage relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Hands‑on experience with data conversion, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM principles, solution planning, configuration, and implementation methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; consulting firm experience is preferred.
