IT Support Specialist

Sittercity is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist to help power our online childcare marketplace. In this role, you'll provide technical support for internal teams, troubleshoot software and system issues, and ensure tools run smoothly for our caregivers and families. You'll assist with user account management, basic data and reporting tasks, and documentation of processes. Collaborating with engineers and product teams, you'll escalate complex issues, contribute feedback to improve our platform, and help maintain a secure, reliable, and user-friendly experience for all Sittercity users.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for internal users and teams
• Troubleshoot software, system, and access issues to resolution or escalation
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and basic configurations
• Document recurring issues, solutions, and support procedures
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on escalated technical problems
• Support data integrity, basic reporting, and system monitoring tasks
• Assist with rollout and testing of new tools and features
• Help maintain security and compliance best practices in daily operations
