Service Now ITOM / CMDB / Asset Management - Technical Lead

Experience:

8 – 10+ years overall experience with strong Service Now technical leadership.

This role is heavily focused on CMDB + ITOM + Integrations + Discovery + Asset Management, with scripting serving as the foundation skill. The client is looking for a hands-on Service Now ITOM/CMDB engineer (5–8+ years) who can independently:

• Design and maintain CMDB architecture
• Implement Discovery and Service Mapping
• Manage IRE and reconciliation rules
• Build integrations (Kafka, REST, Import Sets)
• Develop advanced Service Now scripts
• Support Asset Management use cases
• Drive CMDB data onboarding and governance

• Strong JavaScript & Service Now scripting
• Glide Ajax & Script Includes
• Business Rules & Flow Designer
• CMDB Architecture
• Discovery & MID Server
• IRE & Reconciliation Rules
• Service Mapping – Not limited to Service Now Service Mapping module rather robust dependency mapping and CSDM data modelling alignment
• Experience with Asset Management / Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
