We’re looking for a Senior Atlassian Administrator to join our Enterprise Tools team. This role owns Jira and Status page today, with the Atlassian platform growing as 1
Password does. You’ll be responsible for the architecture, configuration, workflows, governance, and day‑to‑day health of these tools across 1

- Own the architecture, configuration, and governance of 1
Password’s Atlassian platform, starting with Jira and Status page. - Champion the strategy for clean data architecture and maintain platforms.
- Participate in the company’s Jira Council to align platform with organizational needs.
- Partner with engineering, product, IT, and security teams to build platform solutions.
- Design and enforce Atlassian governance standards (project policies, workflow standards, naming conventions, field usage, permission models).
- Build and maintain Jira automations to reduce manual work.
- Lead Atlassian tool onboarding for new teams and programs, creating training materials and running enablement sessions.
- Own vendor relationship and help shape platform roadmap.
- Identify technical debt, configuration drift, process gaps, build backlog.
- Partner with others in IT on integrations between Atlassian tools and other enterprise systems.
- Evaluate, manage, and audit third‑party apps and plugins.
- Document configurations, workflows, decisions and keep security and privacy front of mind.
- At least 6 years of hands‑on Jira administration in a large‑scale enterprise environment.
- Deep experience managing Atlassian Cloud Enterprise ecosystem.
- Expertise in Jira configuration (workflows, issue type schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, custom fields, screens, components).
- Proven experience designing and governing Jira at scale.
- Strong Jira Automation skills, building complex rules.
- Solid understanding of Jira REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting (Python, JavaScript, Groovy).
- Experience with Status page administration;
Confluence and Jira Service Management experience is a plus. - Excellent communication skills across engineering, legal, etc.
- Experience aligning configuration with corporate compliance and audit standards.
- Experience vetting, implementing and governing third‑party marketplace apps.
- Familiarity with ITSM principles.
- Bias toward simplicity and sustainability; builds configurations that teammates can maintain.
- Profound respect for security and privacy, building access controls proactively.
Remote opportunity within Canada and the United States.
CompensationUSA: $123,000–$172,000 USD base + benefits, paid time off, equity, incentive programs.
Canada: $117,000–$164,000 CAD base + benefits, paid time off, equity, incentive programs.
