Corporate M&A Attorney (Mid–Senior Level)

Compensation: $150,000–$350,000+ (DOE)
A nationally recognized, multi-practice law firm is seeking a talented mid- to senior-level Corporate M&A Attorney to join its growing Philadelphia office. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a large, sophisticated corporate practice that handles complex, high-value transactions for a diverse client base, including public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and emerging growth businesses.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions. Attorneys in this group are trusted advisors who work closely with clients and collaborate across practice areas, including tax, finance, employment, and regulatory, to deliver seamless and practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, asset and stock purchases, and strategic transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary agreements
- Conduct and manage legal due diligence and coordinate transaction closings
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients throughout the deal lifecycle
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with partners and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of corporate M&A experience at a law firm or comparable environment
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines independently
