Associate Coordinator, Production

Free People is looking for an Associate Coordinator, Production to support the apparel teams across the full product lifecycle — from initial sourcing, costing, and sample development through to freight, customs, and final delivery.

• Vendor Communication:
  Maintain daily communication with global vendors, fabric mills, and agents to track production, secure sample yardage, and resolve issues
• Calendar Deadlines:
  Meet seasonal calendar milestones and maintain tracking/WIP (Work in Progress) reports for development and shipping
• Tracking:
  Support in SMS, Photoshoot, and TOP tracking across all classes
• Reporting:
  Manage on time report for all classes with support of Production team members
• Misc Project:
  Support in projects across PD and Production as needed
• System Management:
  Support in daily system updates in Qlik, PLM, and Wip reports
• Mail distribution:
  Drive mail distribution to coordinators and support submit intake as needed

• 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in Fashion, Retail, Product Development or a related field.
• Proficient in data analysis, data input in PLM, excel, Qlik etc.
• Ability to work within and across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Possesses a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as an understanding of, and ability to, implement operational efficiencies.
• Ability to analyze production process, advise on strategies and achieve sample deadlines.
• Organized, detail oriented, and flexible in order to assist on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Works with a high sense of urgency and integrity, easily and quickly adapts to change, and is motivated by deadlines and new challenges.
• Education:
  
  Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field
