ROOST is a fully furnished extended stay residence designed for travelers who will be away from home for an extended period of time. Our operations are similar to traditional hotel with a 24-hour front office, housekeeping services, and offering personalized amenities.

Job Description:
  • Location:

    Roost Philadelphia (East Market)
  • Organize materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily assignments.
  • Organize materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily assignments.
  • Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Check pending work orders daily and address each work order in a timely fashion.
  • Perform basic electrical work
  • Perform basic plumbing work
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders as needed
  • Check HVAC equipment
  • Perform general maintenance to resident suites and public areas.
Requirements:
  • Full Time Position- 40 hours, weekdays and weekends (this position will not have a set schedule).
  • Must have commercial building experience
  • Must be proficient in modern technology and software applications relevant to the role.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge required
  • Must be able to work independently; including walking several blocks between properties at least once a day.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to keep par levels of maintenance supplies.
  • Must be comfortable speaking with guests while resolving any issues.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Command of English Language- both spoken and written.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling are a plus
