Description
The High Center at Elizabethtown College invites applications for a Managing Director-Lehigh Valley primarily focused on the Lehigh Valley area.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Senior Managing Director in planning, organizing, and coordinating projects and activities that ensure the continued effective operation and strategic expansion of the High Center in the Lehigh Valley. This position also assists other CFB staff in the same. This position is considered hybrid remote.
This position will develop relationships in the Lehigh Valley with current and prospective members and corporate partners, for the purpose of, assisting the High Centers’ growth. This role requires attending various industry presentations and networking events to build relationships with prospective members.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison in the Lehigh Valley for members, prospective members, corporate partners, and the public.
- Work with Senior Managing Director to oversee the administration of, and the communication with, peer groups in new markets; assist the Senior Managing Director with placement and follow up of new peer group members; responsibilities include using to manage group participation and attendance. Peer group coordinator will assist with the administration of these tasks.
- Attend all High Center events with the purpose of outreach and recruitment of new members. Contact new market prospects and members prior to events; to personally encourage their attendance.
- Work with the Senior Managing Director to conduct Best Practice and Exit Planning surveys with members.
- Assist in preparing materials for market outreach and corporate partner meetings. Present High Center updates as necessary.
- Participate in the Center’s communications and marketing initiatives. Assist in the coordination of any materials for CFB publications in the new markets, e.g. brochures, marketing materials, manuals, educational materials for peer groups, etc.
- Assist the Program & Member Development Manager on the execution of the annual High Center Business Forum event; work closely with directors to contact and secure sponsors for the event.
- Assist the Program & Member Development Manager on content ideas for new markets quarterly newsletter.
- Assist the Executive Director of the Center, the Directors of Membership Services and volunteers in any required duties
- Support the work of the Executive Director with members of the college faculty and staff.
- Conduct background research as necessary to complete assigned projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of experience in business leadership and customer relations.
