Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for reviewing and creating manufacturing processes and job routings. Works closely with shop floor operators, programmers, and engineers to improve manufacturing processes. Supports completion of continuous improvement projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review all design, quality and customer requirements necessary to generate manufacturing routings.
  • Utilizes ERP software (Syteline) to create manufacturing routings.
  • Utilizes paperless shop floor software (Autodesk Vault) to coordinate job paperwork and supporting drawings.
  • Identify required dimensional and other inspection measurements and generates quality control forms.
  • Review existing manufacturing plans and bill of materials for issues and updates as needed.
  • Communicates with Manufacturing Manager, Purchasing, CNC Programming, and Quality to ensure that all order requirements are met.
  • Utilize CAD software (Autodesk Inventor and Vault) to design fixtures and create manufacturing models and sketches.
  • Process engineering revisions to update manufacturing processes and address discrepancies.
  • Support repairs and rework efforts in manufacturing routings.
  • Exemplify Kingsbury's safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements and acting as a safety ambassador.
  • Attend all company-required trainings and meetings (e.g., safety and department meetings).
  • Oversee and maintain the quality according to Kingsbury Quality Assurance standards across Kingsbury products and processes.
  • Complete special projects, continuous improvement initiatives and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate degree from a community or technical college;
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree is preferred Or 2+ years related work experience/training.
