CNC Turning Operations Specialist

CNC Turning Operations Specialist Step into a hands-on production role where precision, safety, and teamwork shape every shift. From clock-in to clock-out, you’ll turn detailed plans into finished parts while supporting a smooth manufacturing flow.

What your day looks like

You’ll begin by reviewing work orders and schematics, then pulling the right materials for the run. Throughout the shift, you’ll assemble and make minor repairs using common hand and power tools (think tape measures and power tools), perform product and material safety checks, and keep your workstation organized and clean. You’ll coordinate closely with teammates, communicating clearly to keep work moving, and follow your supervisor’s day-to-day guidance to hit quality and schedule targets.

Safety is constant—PPE on, procedures followed, every time.

Technology you’ll operateCNC lathes (2–4 axis)
CNC lathes (5+ axis)
Physical realities of the role Handle products up to 60 lbs repeatedly during the day Occasionally push/pull up to 100 lbs Comfort with kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting, and sitting as tasks require

Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

What helps you succeed1+ year of experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
High school diploma or GEDCuriosity and willingness to learn new processes and tools

Comfort reading schematics/blueprints and following documented work instructions

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
