Role:
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department / Telemetry Responsibilities:
Provide safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Direct patient/family teaching and guide other nursing staff Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition; communicate with physicians Maintain standards of professional nursing care in ED and Telemetry Ensure compliance with EMTALA and abuse reporting regulations Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Requirements:
Current RN license in the state BLS (current), ACLS (within 30 days of hire), PALS and/or ENPC (within 30 days) Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation (within 30 days) 1+ year staff RN experience in acute care (ED experience preferred) Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred BSN preferred
