Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about the principles, theories, and current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient and their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care based on nursing practice standards and departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to personalize care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty (Preferred).
  • PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
  • Basic Life Support certification (Required).
  • Multi State Compact RN License (Required).
