Nurse Practitioner Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OBGYN Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans across various settings. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Must have OBGYN experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, including suturing, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Manage acute and chronic health conditions, providing education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide telehealth services as needed, ensuring accessibility for patients.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.

Skills

  • Proficient in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinical

    Works.
  • OBGYN experience and knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and workers' compensation law.
  • Familiarity with various other specialties
  • Strong understanding of patient care protocols including vital signs monitoring, tand medication management.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 ? 30 per week
