Wound care Registered Nurse RN Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive Wound Care program in the facility which includes; care protocol, documentation process, and Wound Care formulary
• Directs clinical staff in assessing wounds and following the proper documentation process every step of the way
• Provides accurate assessments and numbers to the DON on a weekly basis for reporting
• Conducts on-going survey using Center of Disease Control (CDC) infection criteria, documentation, and investigation of acquired infections
• Performs other related job duties as required

Wound Care Registered Nurse RN Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing is required
• RN License in the State of Pennsylvania
• Wound Care Certification required
