Full-time:Beaver & Lawrence Counties. POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse is a licensed health care professional with advanced medical knowledge who administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent visits. She/he provides complex care to the patient and coordinates necessary support services. These nursing services are provided to patients in accordance with a physician’s plan of care. Registered Nurses who serve as primary nurses utilize a case manager approach in assessing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating client care.
Additionally, the Registered Nurse manages other members of the nursing team.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse that is looking to specialize in intravenous (IV) therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate of state-approved school with course in pharmacology
- Current license in the State of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of two years experience in patient care
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state.
- Previous experience with IV therapy
- Experience with starting IV's, accessing ports, monitoring IV's in a patient's home, titrating meds for IVIG, and remicade.
