Job Summary:

The CDU Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver physical and psychological support to patients and families. Daily responsibilities include assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, equipment maintenance, and communication of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient rounding to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment ranges, and care appropriate to patient ages per Scope of Service.
• Promote customer service initiatives and utilize nursing process for individual care.
• Perform technical skills and procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Complete Med‑Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.
