CVOR Nurse
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Nurse with extensive experience in scrubbing and circulating for all types of cardiovascular operating room cases. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure and certifications to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma environment.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for various cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide patient care in the operating room with a focus on safety and efficacy.
- Participate in charge nurse duties as needed.
- Float to general OR as required.
- Manage both weekday and weekend on-call duties.
- Utilize the Cerner (Surginet) charting system for documentation.
- PA nursing license required at the time of submission.
- Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience, including scrubbing and circulating.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma center is essential.
- Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Must be able to provide a valid State License or Certification at the time of submission.
