Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Bariatric Surgery & Metabolic Medicine

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Practice Overview:
Small team consisting of 1 LPN, 2 Medical Assistants, and an Office Manager supporting 5 providers. Providers rotate, so not all 5 are in the office at the same time. Very busy environment. Teamwork is necessary for success. Ideal candidates will be adaptable to a small team environment and committed to long-term employment.

Job Overview:
Triaging patient calls, prior authorizations, scheduling, in-basket management, occasionally assisting with medical reception duties.

Experience & Requirements: 2+ years of LPN experience, EPIC experience required, Cover My Meds  experience preferred. Candidates must be adaptable and trainable with motivation to work in a busy office environment that is dependent on teamwork and covering for one another when needed.

Training: HIPAA Module (15 minutes), 4-hour Penn Chart training (virtual, scheduled on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a break).

Conversion & Compensation:
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time employee (FTE) after the contract period. The organization is known for excellent benefits, PTO, career resources, retirement, and career growth. Pay for FTE conversion with 1-5 years of experience is most likely between $27.00-$27.50 per hour.

Compliance Requirements:
Compliance is due on the Wednesday before the start date. Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award. Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award. Candidates who do not begin this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled.
