Job Description
Make an accurate record of a patient's medical history.
Take and record blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and other measurements.
Observe patients undergoing treatment to determine progress, medication side effects, and so on.
Monitor the condition of patients, including fluid intake and output, and create patient charts.
Assist ailing patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing, and so on.
Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and other similar procedures, as well as clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
Collect samples for laboratory testing as directed.
When necessary, provide emotional and psychological support.
Communicate with patients' families or friends to offer advice, comfort, and reassurance.
Qualifications2 years proven experience as an LPN or in a related role.
A successful completion of the LPN license program is required.
