Hematology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant
Treats and evaluates patients; administers patient care in a particular clinical specialty area, under the direction of the licensed physician. Knowledgeable about patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methods and techniques of practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities in accordance with scope of practice and licensure guidelines and in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
Conducting comprehensive patient history taking, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory data to diagnose hematological conditions like anemia, bleeding disorders, blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma), and myeloproliferative disorders along with working with chemotherapy treatments experience strongly preferred. Classical Benign and Malignant Hematology outpatient experience strongly preferred.
EducationNurse Practitioner
- Bachelors Degree: in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required)
- Masters Degree: in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required)
Physician Assistant
- Bachelors Degree (Required)
- Other:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. (Required)
2 years experience as a physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner Preferred
LicensesPA Medical Physician Asst Lic Required
Certified Physician Assistant Required or
CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week 8:00am-4:30pm with flexibility. No weekends/holidays/evenings. No on-call.
