Housekeeping Supervisor

Tucker House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our environmental services team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with prior housekeeping supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

• Supervise and support housekeeping staff on assigned shifts.

• Conduct daily rounds to ensure resident rooms, common areas, and support areas meet cleanliness standards.

• Perform quality assurance inspections and address deficiencies promptly.

• Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping employees.

• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily assignments.

• Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices, OSHA standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain adequate inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

• Work collaboratively with Nursing, Maintenance, Laundry, and other departments.

• Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns regarding environmental services.

• Assist with survey readiness and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is required (healthcare or long-term care preferred).

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, or healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of infection control and environmental services standards.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
